Job Summary
Alamo Health Management is seeking an experienced Licensed Clinician to serve as Regional Director with our corporate team, overseeing operations at our multiple California-based communities. We are a growing organization that provides transitional housing and resident-centered care, delivering on-site wraparound services to clients living with mental health disorders, addiction, and co-occurring diagnoses.
This high-level role is responsible for ensuring the achievement of clinical program goals, the delivery of quality care, the strengthening of County and State partnerships, and the management of budgetary expectations.
The Regional Director plays a vital role in strategic planning, team leadership, contract compliance, and program development across multiple 24/7-operated facilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Directs and supports clinical programs across the region, based out of adult residential facilities serving severely mentally ill individuals (SMI) with co-occurring disorders
- Travels regularly to company facilities and the corporate office to ensure alignment with standards, operations, and objectives.
- Provides crisis intervention support as needed and maintains availability for calls during evenings and weekends.
- Empowers and supports facility administrators and staff with clear expectations and ongoing feedback aligned with continuous quality improvement practices.
- Monitors workforce metrics such as attendance, turnover, and recruitment efforts; recommends corrective actions as needed.
- Ensures effective personnel practices at each facility in coordination with site leadership.
- Collaborates with case managers and facility staff to assess and refine support plans for residents.
- Oversees the development and monthly monitoring of each facility’s clinical programs; recommends adjustments in staffing or services to address evolving client needs.
- Establishes and maintains clinical standards to ensure safe, therapeutically effective care.
- Participates in strategic planning initiatives with other executive leaders to drive operational and clinical performance.
- Provides timely and accurate reporting in accordance with County and State contracts.
- Evaluates program outcomes annually and collaborates with county officials and facility administration to ensure alignment with clinical objectives.
- Builds and sustains positive, collaborative relationships with County and State partners.
- Maintains regular communication with public officials to receive feedback, strengthen community ties, and promote a strong public image.
- Oversees the management of county contracts and ensures all programmatic and reporting obligations are met.
Qualifications:
- Current licensure in California as LCSW, LMFT, LPCC, or Psychologist (PsyD)
- Minimum of 5 years of post-licensure clinical experience
- At least 3 years of clinical or administrative leadership experience
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive performance outcomes
- Strong communication, coaching, and team-building skills
- Must pass a DOJ/FBI Live Scan background check
- Valid California driver’s license and reliable transportation required
- Willingness and ability to travel by car and plane across California, including to counties such as Los Angeles, San Bernardino, Stanislaus, Contra Costa, and San Francisco
- Strong leadership background in behavioral health operations or clinical program management.
- Demonstrated ability to manage 24/7 clinical operations and respond to crisis needs.
- Experience working with public agencies, contracts, and multidisciplinary teams.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $150,000.00 - $170,000.00 per year
