GENERAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
Education & Experience Associate Degree required with experience. Bachelor’s Preferred.
Essential Functions include but are not limited to:
1. Excellent verbal and written communication.

4. Must be able to maintain confidential information.
5. Excellent computer skills. Proficient in Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and excellent data entry skills.
6. Ability to train and orient employees.
7. Ability to access all facilities and areas of all the programs.
8. Must be able to attend and pass all required trainings.
9. Possess a current, valid driver’s license for three (3) years with an acceptable driving record.
10. Ability to adhere to all safety rules, policies and guidelines.
11. Ability to become familiar DBHDS, DMAs, and CMS.
12. Ability to become familiar with and uphold the philosophies, goals, and policies of Pleasant View, Inc., including Home and Community Based Services (HCBS) regulations.
13. On call details.
DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES
Training
1. Plan, implement, and develop training and staff development programs, using knowledge of the effectiveness of methods such as classroom training, hybrid training, demonstrations, on-the-job training, meetings, and workshops
2. Confer with management and identify training needs based on processes, changes, and other factors
3. Plan, implement, and develop new training programs or modifying and improving existing ones
4. Equip supervisors with techniques and skills for training and dealing with their respective subordinates
5. Oversee all instructors and ensure there are enough appropriate instructors for each class.
6. Serve as the head of the Training Improvement Committee.
7. Implement new hire orientations.
8. Schedule and map out annual training plans for management, direct care staff and more.
9. Design and develop training programs
10. Select appropriate training methods or activities and coordinate with appropriate team members and instructors.
11. Market available training to employees and provide necessary information about sessions
12. Assist with licensing reviews and QSR reviews
Compliance
Ensure that training functions are implemented effectively on a timely basis
1. Coordinate with clients to ensure consistency in the implementation of performance standards
2. Generate and send Training reports or development as needed (Audits, Monthly, Action Plans, etc.)
3. Identify risks and writing root cause analysis --- CAPS
4. Oversee that all instructors training is compliance
1. Review and track mandatory employee trainings and ensure compliance.
2. Maintain knowledge of trends, best practices, and regulatory changes in regards to trainings and compliance.
3. Keep Program Directors and Program Managers informed of changes from the HR department as designated by the HR Director.
Other Duties/Responsibilities
1. Assist with our internship and volunteer programs in regards to training and compliance.
2. Participate in fundraising events for the agency.
3. Coordinate with the Director of Program Integrity and HR Department.
4. Perform any other duties assigned by the Director of Program Integrity.
