Position Title: Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)

Department: Behavioral Health Services

Reports To: Management

Employment Type: Part-time

As a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), you are expected to develop and supervise behavior intervention plans, conduct assessments, and provide training and support to Behavioral Technicians (BTs) and Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs). You will work closely with clients, families, and a multidisciplinary team to improve the quality of life for individuals with developmental disabilities, particularly Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).

Key Responsibilities and Expectations:

• Behavior Assessment and Planning:

• Collaborates with interdisciplinary teams, including parents/caregivers, educators, and other professionals, to develop comprehensive behavior support plans.
• Provides indirect behavior analytic services including assessment, treatment planning, and intervention implementation.
• May provide direct behavior analytic services to clients.
• Supervision and Training:

• Provide direct supervision and support to BTs and RBTs.
• Conduct regular observation and feedback sessions to ensure fidelity to treatment plans.
• Offer ongoing training and professional development opportunities to team members.
• Data Collection and Analysis:

• Oversee the collection and analysis of data to monitor client progress.
• Adjust intervention strategies based on data analysis and client needs.
• Maintain accurate and detailed records of client progress and treatment plans.
• Collaboration and Communication:

• Communicate effectively with clients, families, and other team members to provide updates and feedback.
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to coordinate care.
• Educate families and caregivers on behavior intervention strategies and support.
• Ethical and Professional Conduct:

• Adhere to the ethical guidelines and professional standards set by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB).
• Maintain client confidentiality and ensure all interactions are conducted with professionalism and respect.
• Stay current with industry best practices and advancements in behavioral therapy.
• Program Development and Evaluation:

• Develop and evaluate programs to enhance the quality of behavioral health services.
• Implement quality improvement initiatives to optimize service delivery.

Qualifications:

• Certification: Current BCBA certification in good standing with the BACB.
• Education: Master’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Education, or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, particularly ASD.
• Skills:
• Strong knowledge of behavior analysis principles and techniques.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in data collection and analysis.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Demonstrates proficiency in developing evidence-based behavior support plans and implementing skill acquisition targets.
• Has experience conducting behavior assessments.
• Has experience working directly with clients across either a variety of settings, populations, and/or age groups.
• Participates in ongoing professional development activities to enhance skills and knowledge in the field of applied behavior analysis.

• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to pass a background check and any other required screenings.
• Takes and passes the 8-Hour Supervision Training within 3 months of hire.
