Shipping and Receiving Assistant

As a Shipping and Receiving Assistant at Moonlight Custom Printing, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient and accurate movement of goods throughout our supply chain. This role requires a high level of attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Receive incoming shipments and verify their contents against purchase orders or shipping manifests.
• Inspect incoming goods for quality, quantity, and any damages, and report discrepancies to the appropriate parties.
• Prepare and package outgoing shipments, ensuring items are correctly labeled and securely packed.
• Communicate effectively with internal teams and external partners to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment.
• Adhere to safety guidelines and best practices to maintain a safe working environment.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience in shipping and receiving or warehouse operations a plus
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, adapting to changing priorities.
• Physical ability to lift and move heavy objects and stand for extended periods
