• Typically, Monday through Friday 8 am – 5 pm

May be required to perform other duties as assigned. May be required to assist the agency or state government generally in the event of an emergency declaration by the Governor.

• Significant experience and education in Human Resources, Business Administration, Communications, or a related area
• Knowledge of Excel is beneficial for this role.
• Working knowledge of principles and practices of human resource management with knowledge of employment practices, recruitment/selection, classification, compensation analysis, record retention/file maintenance, and customer service
• Demonstrated ability to develop and interpret policies and procedures, analyze data and present conclusions, and to review written documentation for adherence to policy and procedures
• Ability to independently provide guidance and direction to all levels of college staff regarding assigned HR work areas; prioritize and manage multiple tasks; and use sound judgment to resolve workplace issues.
• Working knowledge of federal and state laws related to human resources issues.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
