Duties

• Collect and prepare specimens such as blood, urine, or tissue samples for analysis with precision and care
• Operate and maintain medical laboratory equipment to ensure accurate test results
• Conduct diagnostic tests following established protocols and quality control procedures
• Assist physicians and nurses by providing timely test results to aid in diagnosis and treatment decisions
• Document all procedures meticulously, maintaining detailed records for compliance and review
• Ensure proper disposal of biohazardous materials in accordance with safety regulations
• Support inventory management by monitoring supplies and requesting replenishments as needed

Experience

• Prior experience working in a clinical laboratory or healthcare setting is preferred but not required; on-the-job training will be provided
• Knowledge of laboratory safety protocols, infection control practices, and quality assurance standards
• Familiarity with medical testing equipment such as centrifuges, microscopes, analyzers, and pipettes
• Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently
• Ability to follow detailed instructions accurately while maintaining a high level of precision
• Good communication skills to collaborate effectively with healthcare team members
• Certification as a Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) or equivalent is a plus but not mandatory for all roles
