About the Position

Our agency is currently seeking experienced and dependable Registered Nurse (RNS) Supervisors for 7–3 PM and 3–11 PM shifts in Colchester, CT. These 13-week temp-to-perm opportunities are ideal for nursing professionals looking to transition into a permanent leadership role while gaining firsthand experience with the facility and team environment.

RN Supervisor Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and support nursing staff, including RNs, LPNs, and CNAs during assigned shifts.
• Ensure quality patient care and compliance with facility policies and procedures.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Monitor resident conditions and respond appropriately to changes in health status.
• Assist with admissions, discharges, and care planning.
• Communicate effectively with physicians, residents, families, and interdisciplinary team members.
• Maintain accurate nursing documentation and shift reports.
• Ensure infection control, safety, and regulatory compliance standards are met.
• Provide leadership, guidance, and staff education as needed.

RN Supervisor Requirements

• Active RN license in the state of Connecticut.
• Previous supervisory experience in long-term care or rehabilitation preferred.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Excellent clinical assessment and decision-making abilities.
• Compassionate and resident-focused approach to care.
• Ability to work either the 7–3 PM or 3–11 PM shift, including every other weekend.
