Position Summary
S2L Recovery is a Christ-centered detox/inpaitent rehabilitation facility. We seek a qualified and experienced Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse to provide nursing care and psychological support to detox and rehab patients. The candidate must be an excellent multi-tasker, work well in a multi-disciplinary team, and show compassion in their work. Must be confident in working independently and comfortable with different communication and medical record charting systems. Also must be flexible to cover open shift needs within the monthly nursing schedule. Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
- Admission assessment within 24 hours of new intakes
- CIWA-Ar/CIWA-B/COWS monitoring of SR and management of symptoms related to withdrawal
- Frequent Vital Signs of SRs
- Be able to identify higher level of care for SR, if needed
- Administration of medications using the 5 rights of patient administration
- Education of detoxification symptoms and the ability to explain these the the SR
- The ability to use de-escalation techniques when high tense situations arise
- Be able to perform a head-to-toe assessment of SR and recognize abnormal findings
- Charting of history, head-to-toe assessment and medical history as well as any medical situations that arise throughout the shift
- Collaborate with the Medical Director to formulate therapeutic plan of care for SR
- Perform any laboratory or diagnostic exams as needed
- Perform basic wound care as needed
- Maintain inventory of basic medical supplies and let administration know when we are running low
- Collaboration with social worker/therapist to discuss next level of care, transition to RTC
- Discuss treatment and plan of care as it relates to medical components with family while SR is under our care
- Ability to provide direction to other employees and staff members in a calm demeanor during a medical emergency
- Ability to complete educational and medical competencies as they are assigned by the Medical and Nursing Director in a timely manner
- Assess patients at risk for suicidal behavior using the Columbia Suicide Severity Scale
Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities) At least an associate’s degree in nursing. Tennessee Registered Nurse License.
Positions available are PRN Days/Nights/Weekends (6:30 - 6:30)
LPN $23.00-$26.00 an hour
RN $31.00-$36.00 an hour
Additional $2/hr for Saturday and Sunday shifts.
Pay: $23.00 - $36.00 per hour

License/Certification:
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Provider Certification (Required)
- Tennessee Nursing License (Required)
