Mechanical Engineer Position (Fremont, CA)

ULTRA t Equipment Company is in search of an experienced MECHANICAL ENGINEER for equipment design and build. This is NOT a management role. The role is a major contributor in development efforts designing process equipment systems and components used in a variety of semiconductor applications. They will be responsible for mechanical engineering activities including CAD modeling (SolidWorks), assembly and production support, interface with vendors, technical sales and customer support, and application-specific demonstrations of equipment capabilities. The position will report to the company Product Development Manager.

Required qualifications:

• BS degree in MECHANICAL ENGINEERING.
• 5 years of professional experience (post-degree) in engineering of semiconductor liquid processing equipment at the component and system levels.
• SolidWorks CAD experience designing complete process systems: detailed 3D models and drawings of components, assemblies, and systems.

Additional skills:

Cost-effective fabrication (sheet metal, CNC machining, FDM, Resin, SLS 3D-printing), International Standards (SEMI, CE, UL, etc.), Project Management (schedule, communication, materials sourcing, product structure and documentation), Cleanroom, Modeling Software (FEA), technical sales, small business environments, marketing, publication, and presentation of research work.

Pay: $105,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
