We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Licensed Drivers Education Instructor to lead comprehensive driver training programs for a diverse range of students. Duties

• Conduct engaging classroom instruction covering traffic laws, safe driving practices, defensive driving techniques, and traffic safety education for teen and adult learners
• Lead behind-the-wheel training sessions in standard passenger cars, motorcycles, and off-road environments, demonstrating proper vehicle operation and safety procedures
• Provide personalized driving instruction tailored to individual student needs, including night driving, adverse weather conditions, highway maneuvers, and special needs driver training
• Assess student progress through evaluations and provide constructive feedback to enhance their driving skills
• Adhere strictly to traffic regulations during all instruction sessions while promoting safe driving habits
• Manage classroom environments effectively through strong classroom management skills to maintain focus and engagement
• Facilitate online instruction modules when applicable, integrating technology to enhance learning experiences
• Conduct driver improvement and rehabilitation programs aimed at enhancing safe driving behaviors for various client needs

Experience

• Valid state-issued driver’s license with a clean driving record demonstrating extensive experience in standard passenger car operation
• Certification as a Licensed Drivers Education Instructor with relevant state authorities
• Proven experience in senior driver instruction, teen driver education, motorcycle operation, and off-road driving techniques
• Demonstrated ability in classroom management and delivering adult education effectively
• Experience working with diverse student populations, including individuals with special needs or requiring specific driver training adaptations
• Strong communication skills with the ability to clearly convey complex concepts and foster positive client interactions
• Knowledge of traffic safety standards, defensive driving techniques, highway maneuvers, adverse weather driving strategies, and traffic regulations

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
