[ Position ] Senior Manager - EHS & Compliance
[ Summary ]
The role will lead the development and execution of environmental, health, safety, and regulatory compliance strategies for the North American Resource Circulation business. This position is responsible for establishing an integrated EHS and compliance framework across a multi-site operation, ensuring alignment with U.S. regulatory requirements and corporate governance standards. The position will serve as a critical partner to executive leadership and play a key leadership function in secondary smelting projects, integrating EHS considerations into site selection and early-stage investment decisions.
[ Essential Duties ]
・ EHS Strategy & Compliance Leadership: Develop and implement EHS and compliance strategies aligned with business objectives , ensuring compliance with applicable U.S. federal, state, and local regulations such as EPA and OSHA.
・ Site Selection & Project Development: Lead EHS due diligence and risk assessment for site selection of secondary smelting facilities , evaluate environmental permitting and liabilities , and partner with engineering, legal, and business development teams to support investment decision-making.
・ EHS Systems & Multi-Site Operations: Design and implement scalable EHS and compliance systems , and standardize policies, procedures, and reporting structures across multiple operating sites.
・ Certifications, Audits & Improvement: Lead certification and compliance programs, including ISO (9001/14001/45001), R2, RIOS, and E-Stewards , and oversee internal, external, and customer audits.
・ ESG & Sustainability: Develop ESG reporting capabilities aligned with stakeholder expectations and integrate sustainability objectives into operational and compliance strategies.
・ Supply Chain & Third-Party Governance: Establish vendor qualification frameworks and manage downstream compliance as well as environmental risk across the supply chain.
・ Risk Management & Governance: Position EHS as a core element of enterprise risk management and develop incident response and crisis management protocols.

[ Salary ] $170,000 - $220,000 (Annual)
