Job Title: Pharmacy Technician

Reports To: Supervising Technician, Supervising Pharmacist, Staff Pharmacist

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Expedites prescription processing by performing all duties necessary and allowable by store policy or law.
• Receives new and refill prescription from customers for filling.
• Pulls labels from printer, obtains the appropriate medication from inventory and fills prescriptions accordingly.
• Prepares bingo cards following Buffalo Pharmacies protocol.
• Follows procedure when preparing ‘slappers’, pumps and supplies.
• Packs and prints delivery sheets.
• Understands different procedures for individual homes.
• Processes incoming orders from drug wholesaler.
• Assists in maintaining a clean and orderly work environment.
• Follows store procedure and pharmacists direction to improve efficiency and accuracy.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $19.00 per hour
