Role Overview:

The QA Engineer will be responsible for ensuring the quality, accuracy, and reliability of complex enterprise applications involving data processing, forecasting, and workflow-driven systems. The role requires strong expertise in functional testing, data validation, integration testing, and business workflow validation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform end-to-end testing of application modules and workflows
• Validate business processes across multiple interconnected modules
• Execute smoke, SIT, regression, and exploratory testing
• Validate data accuracy and perform reconciliation across systems
• Test integration flows and ensure data consistency between systems
• Validate business rules, calculations, and hierarchical data structures
• Log, track, and manage defects across the lifecycle
• Support UAT and collaborate with business stakeholders
• Create and maintain test cases, reports, and traceability matrices
• Validate UI/UX behavior and user experience

Required Skills & Experience:

• Strong knowledge of Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC)
• Experience in Agile/Scrum environments
• Hands-on experience in functional, regression, and integration testing
• Experience in testing data-heavy applications
• Good knowledge of SQL for data validation
• Understanding of APIs, data pipelines, or ETL processes
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work with business stakeholders and technical teams
• Good communication and documentation skills
