Position Summary
If you've led large-scale Design-Build transportation projects and want to plant roots somewhere with room to grow, this one's worth a look.
You'll own the full lifecycle: from pursuit and proposal through design integration, construction execution, and final acceptance. You'll be the driver of strategy on complex, $100M+ heavy civil horizontal construction, working directly with owners, design partners, and subcontractors.
Duties
- Lead or support proposal development including scope, scheduling, cost, and risk assessment
- Coordinate with designers and estimators during pursuit to build competitive proposals
- Manage teaming arrangements, contracts, MOUs, and partner coordination
- Direct internal or external design teams to ensure timely, compliant submittals
- Align design progress with project schedule and construction sequencing
- Lead constructability reviews and design coordination workshops
- Manage RFIs, ATCs, VE proposals, and owner-directed design changes
- Develop and maintain budgets, cash flow forecasts, schedules, and risk registers
- Track and report performance metrics including earned value
- Proactively identify risks and implement mitigation strategies
Basic Qualifications
- 10+ years of progressive experience in alternative delivery project management
- Proven ability to deliver large-scale, complex infrastructure projects
- Strong relationship-building skills with clients, vendors, subcontractors, and partners
- Alternative delivery experience on large projects (>$100M): DB, CMGC, Progressive DB, P3
- Working knowledge of design development, means and methods, and construction estimating (HCSS)
- On-site/field experience on civil projects
- Proficiency with scheduling software (Microsoft Project and/or P6)
- Experience working with state DOTs strongly preferred
Preferred Qualifications
- DBIA Certification
- Professional Engineer (P.E.) license in at least one state

Pay: $130,000.00 - $180,000.00 per year
