Are you a Computer Science major (or similar) looking to gain hands-on experience, grow your coding skills, and support a mission-driven nonprofit? Join us as a Teaching Assistant (TA) for one of our upcoming cohorts!
At Code Platoon, we train Veterans and military families to become professional software engineers. As a TA, you'll be part of that mission to help students succeed while gaining valuable experience.
Learn alongside students during our programs (remote) and prepare to assist with upcoming lessons
Support students with coding assignments and daily exercises
You don’t need to know everything ahead of time. We expect you to come in as an advanced beginner and grow from there.
A $20,000 Education at no cost
Hands-on experience with tools and technologies used by working developers
A $2,500 stipend for the full internship
Computer Science (or related) major with at least 2 software development classes by the start of the program
Rising sophomore or above
Passion for learning and helping others
Strong communication and collaboration skills
Authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship

Schedule:
Immersive Program: Monday–Friday, 8:30 a.m.–5:00 p.m. CST
Evening & Weekend Program: Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays (5:30–9:30 p.m. CST) and Saturdays (8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. CST)
