Responsibilities and Duties

• Provide customers with solutions for their HVAC and other home comfort needs
• Consult with potential and existing customers to provide a customized HVAC system solution including our exclusive maintenance program
• Serve as the leader of the sales process to ensure customer satisfaction
• Conduct post-sale follow-up to ensure all sales agreements have been fulfilled to customer satisfaction
• Follow-up with existing sales bids and leads to offer any additional information as needed to convert them into sales
• Overcome technical and business objections of prospective customers
• Emphasize salable features, quotes, prices, and credit terms and prepare sales orders for jobs sold
• Build and maintain customer relationships
• Participate in various sales activities to support corporate efforts including, but not limited to, trade shows, referral groups, etc.
• Must be willing and able to work evenings and weekends

Sales Consultant Responsibilities:

• Build trust quickly and position yourself as the trusted advisor in the home
• Ask the right questions to uncover true homeowner needs, pain points, and goals
• Design and present custom HVAC system solutions based on those needs
• Clearly communicate value, options, and financing solutions
• Guide homeowners through the decision process and close the sale
• Maintain strong communication with install and operations teams to ensure a smooth handoff
• Track key metrics including close rate, average ticket, and revenue performance
• Participate in ongoing training, coaching, and performance reviews
• Continuously improve your approach through feedback and self-development
• Identify and implement the best solutions for our clients' HVAC needs
• Conduct building load calculations
• Prepare detailed scopes of work and accurate project estimates
• Stay informed about manufacturer incentives, tax credits, and available rebates
• Follow up with clients to ensure complete satisfactionentify and implement the best solutions for our clients' HVAC needs

Qualifactions

• Minimum of 3 years of sales experience
• Prefer experience in estimating mechanical labor and material costs
• Strong relationship-building and revenue-generating skills
• Proficiency in estimating software, PowerPoint, Excel, Word and Outlook
• Driver's License (required)
• Conduct building load calculations
• Prepare detailed scopes of work and accurate project estimates
• Stay informed about manufacturer incentives, tax credits, and available rebates
• Follow up with clients to ensure complete satisfaction
• Run pre-set, in-home sales appointments (no cold knocking)
• Work a consistent flow of inbound, and tech turn leads
• Build trust quickly and position yourself as the trusted advisor in the home
• Ask the right questions to uncover true homeowner needs, pain points, and goals
• Design and present custom HVAC system solutions based on those needs
• Clearly communicate value, options, and financing solutions
• Guide homeowners through the decision process and close the sale
