Sprite Health is a healthtech company focused on helping organizations manage complex whole-person care workflows through technology, data, and operational support. We are looking for a hands-on Healthcare Data Implementation & Support Lead to support customer onboarding, system setup, data migration, and advanced technical/domain support.
This role is ideal for someone who understands healthcare operations, is comfortable working with data, and can communicate clearly with customers and internal technical teams. The role sits at the intersection of implementation, healthcare operations, data migration, and customer support. The right person should be able to configure systems, validate data, troubleshoot complex operational issues, and help customers successfully use the platform after go-live.
Key Responsibilities
- Customer Onboarding & System Setup: Lead customer onboarding activities, including environment setup, user/team configuration, provider and health plan setup, service/workflow configuration, template setup, and customer-specific operational settings.
- Data Migration & ETL Support Support data migration using internal data tools, including source-to-target mapping, file review, transformation validation, import monitoring, error resolution, and post-migration QA.
- Healthcare Operations Support Provide advanced support for healthcare operations workflows such as member records, referrals, authorizations, care/service delivery, claims, billing, reporting, and data exchange.
- Technical Troubleshooting: Investigate customer issues by reviewing data, workflows, configurations, imports, reports, and system behavior. Identify whether issues are related to setup, missing data, user workflow, configuration, or product/engineering defects. Implementation Coordination Manage onboarding checklists, customer data requests, configuration trackers, testing, go-live readiness, issue logs, and post-go-live stabilization.
- Customer Communication: Work directly with customers to explain setup requirements, troubleshoot issues, provide status updates, and guide them through implementation and operational support questions.
- Internal Collaboration: Partner with product, engineering, data, and customer success teams to resolve issues, improve implementation processes, and document repeatable workflows.
Ideal Background
The ideal candidate has 3–7 years of experience in healthcare technology implementation, data operations, technical support, healthcare operations, or customer-facing systems configuration. They should be comfortable working with both customers and data, and should be able to move between operational conversations and technical troubleshooting.
Required Skills
- Strong understanding of healthcare operations data, such as members, providers, eligibility, referrals, authorizations, services, claims, encounters, or billing.
- Experience with system setup, customer onboarding, implementation support, or platform configuration. Strong SQL or data analysis skills, with the ability to validate records, identify missing data, compare files, and troubleshoot data issues.
- Familiarity with ETL, data migration, file imports, mapping, QA, and reconciliation processes.
- Ability to communicate clearly with customers, including non-technical users. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to independently investigate issues before escalating.
- Strong documentation and project coordination skills.
