Job Description

Design the future of RF and microwave technology. Teledyne Microwave Solutions has over 50 years of experience in developing advanced microwave/RF components and integrated assemblies for aerospace, defense, and communications. Our products support critical missions across global markets, including aviation, radar, Satcom, space, and electronic warfare. What you’ll do

• Design and develop mechanical components and assemblies for RF MIC modules and subsystems
• Perform engineering calculations, stress analysis, and tolerance modeling to ensure mechanical robustness
• Collaborate with electrical, process, and manufacturing teams for seamless integration
• Create detailed documentation, BOMs, and routings in ERP/PDM systems
• Lead product testing, develop test methods, and prepare validation reports
• Evaluate design alternatives based on cost, quality, and production feasibility
• Use SolidWorks CAD software for design and modeling
• Support continuous improvement and design best practices

What you need

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering and 15+ years of related experience (required)
• Proficiency in SolidWorks and strong CAD design skills (required)
• Experience with FEA modeling and mechanical stress analysis (advantage)
• Knowledge of materials such as aluminum, molybdenum, Kovar, and ceramics (advantage)
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills (required)
• Ability to plan, prioritize, and manage multiple projects (required)
• Must be a U.S. citizen and able to obtain and maintain a government security clearance (required)
