Senior Systems Administrator (MSP | In‑Office)

Salary: $80,000–$95,000 per year + performance bonuses
About the Role
Snap Tech IT is seeking a Senior Systems Administrator to support and maintain systems and network infrastructure for our managed services clients. This is a hands-on senior administrator role, not an architecture-only or project-only position.
You will work primarily from our Tempe office, supporting multiple client environments across Arizona and nationwide. Occasional onsite travel within the Phoenix metro area is required.

This Role Is a Good Fit If You:
- Have 4+ years of hands-on senior-level systems administration experience (not total IT or help desk experience)
- Have supported Windows Server, Microsoft 365, and network infrastructure
- Have experience working in a Managed Service Provider (MSP) or multi-client environment
- Are comfortable owning complex technical issues from diagnosis through resolution
- Can switch between multiple client environments throughout the day
- Value documentation, process, and doing things correctly the first time
- Can work independently without micromanagement
Core Responsibilities
- Resolve escalated systems, server, and infrastructure issues
- Support Windows Server, Microsoft 365, and workstation environments
- Support and troubleshoot network infrastructure, including firewalls, switches, and wireless access points
- Resolve routing, VLAN, VPN, and network security issues
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to Level 1 technicians
- Create and maintain network diagrams, SOPs, and client documentation in IT Glue
- Accurately track work in ConnectWise Manage
- Participate in scheduled after-hours on-call rotation
- Travel onsite within the Phoenix metro area as required (planned in advance)

Required Experience & Skills
- Minimum 5 years of professional experience supporting:
- Windows Server environments
- Network infrastructure (firewalls, switches, wireless)
- Experience working in an MSP or multi-client environment
- Strong troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills
- Ability to explain technical issues to non-technical users
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift and move standard IT equipment as needed
Preferred (Not Required)
- CCNA or equivalent networking experience
- Microsoft certifications (MCSA, MCSE, or similar)
- Experience with ConnectWise Manage / Automate or similar PSA/RMM tools
- Familiarity with cybersecurity best practices in an MSP environment
