Project Management & Collaboration:

• Manages and trades off performance, cost, schedule, risk and other system attributes to achieve an optimal solution that meets stakeholder needs and aligns with organizational goals.
• Manage system integration projects, ensuring seamless deployment and interoperability of technologies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess system requirements and provide technical solutions.
• Work with stakeholders to prioritize system enhancements and align program goals.

Documentation & Compliance:

• Create and maintain detailed system documentation, including technical specifications, configurations, and user manuals.
• Ensure compliance with security standards, data protection policies, and regulatory requirements.
• Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends to drive innovation.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field required, or combination of experience and education.
• Experience: 4+ years of experience in systems engineering or a related field

• Required Skills:
• Strong knowledge of system design, integration, and architecture.
• Experience with system security, data protection protocols, and compliance standards.
• Knowledge of IT infrastructure components such as data storage, power/cooling management, backup solutions, monitoring, identity and access management, and automation tools.
• Strong proficiency in systems engineering processes including requirements analysis, system architecture design, validation and verification, and integration.
• Experience with functional analysis, trade studies, timeline analysis, and requirements allocation to develop hardware/software specifications.
• Ability to perform lifecycle cost estimation, decision analysis, and physical configuration analysis to optimize system solutions.
• Proficiency in network infrastructure, cloud computing, and virtualization technologies.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities to collaborate with technical and non-technical teams.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Hands-on experience with radar systems engineering, including system integration, testing, signal processing, and operational performance analysis.
• Familiar with Radar systems such as UEWR and PARCS.

• Preferred Skills:
• Experience working with complex, multi-disciplinary systems in both classified and unclassified environments.
• Familiarity with model-based systems engineering (MBSE) tools and practices.
• Knowledge of cybersecurity standards and compliance related to IT and engineering systems.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills for cross-functional teamwork and stakeholder engagement.
• Proficiency with Agile methodologies and related tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence).
• Experience with cloud environments and DevOps integration in system engineering projects.

Work Environment/Physical Requirements:

• Office environment with occasional on-site work in data centers or with hardware systems.
• May require after-hours or weekend work to address critical system issues or deployments.
• Some travel may be necessary to support system installations or meet with stakeholders.
• Ability to work at a desk and operate a computer for extended periods.
• Occasional lifting of IT equipment or hardware components (up to 25 lbs).

Work Schedule:

This is a full-time position, typically working 40 hours per week. Overtime may be required depending on operational needs.
