Education Manager
Automotive Training Center (Exton and Warminster), a respected post-secondary automotive training school in the Philadelphia metro area, is seeking a dedicated and experienced manager with expert automotive technical skills. The Education Manager position is responsible for ensuring the curriculum objectives are met daily and that students are actively engaged in the educational process in the classroom and shop. The Education Manager supports the automotive, collision and marine service faculty by overseeing and assisting in updating of course material, educational technology, tools and equipment, and faculty training and development. The position also supports the Career and Student Services team by building employer connections for students and graduate employment.
Duties and Responsibilities
Education Leadership
Curriculum & Instructional Design
Collaborate with instructors to develop and improve course materials
Assist with:
o Course structure and design
o Course content development and training aid development and procurement
o Interactive learning activities
o Assessment and evaluation methods
· Ensure materials comply with accreditation standards
Technology & Industry Innovation
· Stay current with:
o Automotive technology
o Collision repair technology
o Marine service technology
· Recommend updates to
o Training aids
o Educational technology
o Shop equipment
o Tools and instructional resources
Faculty Support
· Provide technical and educational guidance to instructors
· Assist and train faculty on accreditation requirements
· Coordinate training and professional development opportunities
Employer & Industry Relations
· Work with Career and Student Services teams to:
Ideal Candidate Profile
Automotive Expertise
· 5 + years of automotive industry experience
· Strong knowledge of modern vehicle technology
· ASE Certifications (Master ASE preferred)
· Additional collision repair or marine service knowledge is a plus
Educational Experience
· Bachelor’s degree in education or related areas
· Teaching experience in classroom and/or shop environments
· Experience in developing curriculum or training programs
Leadership Skills
· Ability to train, coach, and support instructors
· Process management and organizational skills
· Strong project management capabilities
Technical Skills
· Microsoft Office Suite:
