Job Summary

Kutztown University of Pennsylvania enrolls approximately 7,500 students across its graduate and undergraduate programs. Located in a charming rural setting in Kutztown, Pennsylvania, the University is just a 20-minute drive from the metropolitan areas of Allentown/Bethlehem and Reading, and about an hour from the Philadelphia metropolitan area. The Department of Cinema, Television and Media Production at Kutztown University invites applications for a part-time temporary faculty position for the Fall 2026 - Spring 2027 academic year. Courses taught may include Scriptwriting, Media Theory and Aesthetics, Introduction to Cinema, Television and Media Production, Post-Production, or other introductory through advanced production courses. In accordance with the Collective Bargaining Agreement, performance review and evaluation of faculty is based on effective teaching and fulfillment of professional responsibilities; continuing scholarly growth; and service.

Minimum Qualifications

• Master’s degree in a related field
• College-level teaching experience
• Significant industry-related experience
• Proficiency in field and post-production

Preferred Qualifications

• MFA or PhD in a related field
• Proficiency in broadcast production
