We are a top-rated private family practice in Albuquerque, New Mexico, expanding and looking to add a 5th Nurse Practitioner to our team. We offer healthcare services to all age ranges! We offer in-house phlebotomy, BioTe Hormone Replacement Therapy, Myers Cocktails, weight loss assistance, Vitamin Injection, in house vaccinations, in-house COVID and flu testing and more!!

Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive medical care to patients with acute and chronic illnesses to all ages
• Make professional medical judgments in the care of patients seen in the clinic.
• Order, conduct, and interpret appropriate diagnostic x-ray and lab tests.
• Prescribe treatments, medications, and non-pharmacologic therapies.
• Document all patient encounters and communications appropriately.
• Manage the provider/patient relationship.
• Receive and resolve patient complaints.
• Involve in education and counseling of individuals, families, and groups.
• Serve as a healthcare resource, interdisciplinary consultant, and patient advocate.
• Perform other functions as required.
• Modify assessment techniques according to patients’ condition, culture, age, and stage of development.
• Maintain coding and encounter data standards for completeness, accuracy, timeliness, and reimbursement level, including legible documentation.
• Lead and work collaboratively with a team, including nurses and medical assistants, requiring regular communication and collaboration.
• AI dictation for notes.

Credentials Required:

Nurse Practitioner:

• Master’s degree in Nursing
• New Mexico Nurse Practitioner license
• DEA license
• We will provide hormone therapy training
