Summary: Seeking a Tooling Engineer with expertise in casting and tooling to enhance metal casting operations through design, simulation, and process optimization.

• Requirements:
• High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree or technical certification preferred
• 3-5 years of experience in metal casting or manufacturing
• Proficiency in designing patterns, core boxes, and riser systems
• Mastery of modeling software like GibbsCAM or Solid Edge
• Ability to read blueprints and apply geometric dimensioning and tolerancing
• Preferred Skills:
• Experience with casting simulation software
• Familiarity with shop operations and equipment building best practices
• Responsibilities:
• Engineer patterns, core boxes, gating, and riser systems for metal casting
• Collaborate with internal departments and clients to ensure product quality
• Generate and manage engineering models and technical drawings
• Use advanced modeling software to optimize performance and reduce waste
• Conduct trial runs, validate designs, suggest improvements
• Manage intake and inspection of client equipment
