Machine Operator

Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Machine Operator to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating a variety of industrial equipment, ensuring precision in production processes, and maintaining high safety standards. Your expertise will help us deliver superior felt products efficiently and reliably.

Responsibilities include

• · Load and operate the machines in a safe and efficient way according to all relevant policies and procedures
• · Perform daily safety and maintenance checks
• · Report any material or equipment abnormalities to supervisor
• · Comply with all safety procedures and report any safety hazards or incidents
• · Maintain good production standards
• · Follow plant/departmental housekeeping procedures including keeping equipment and area clean and maintained
• · Notify Supervisor when material and/or supplies are low
• · Fill out production sheet continuously throughout the shift
• · Perform other miscellaneous work duties as assigned to fully utilize time or as pertinent to the job

Skills

· Must develop effective working knowledge of production processes and comply with all pertinent Standard Operating Procedures (“SOPs”), and manufacturing/packaging batch records

· Demonstrates attention to detail and accuracy

· Teamwork - Balances team and individual responsibilities

· Uses equipment and materials properly

· Adaptability

· Language Skills: Ability to read and understand documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, etc.

· Basic Mathematical Skills

Physical Requirements

· The employee must routinely lift and/or move up to 40 pounds or more

· The employee will be required to perform daily tasks requiring repetitive motion

Job Type: Full-time

• Monday to Thursday
• Overtime possible on Fridays

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
