Position Description:

CGI Federal is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Front End Developer with expertise in Angular to join our innovative team. As a Front End Developer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining dynamic web applications, ensuring seamless integration with backend services, and optimizing performance and security.
This position is located in our Fairfax, VA or Lafayette, LA or Knoxville, TN office; however, a hybrid working model is acceptable.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

.Proven hands on experience developing user facing features using Angular framework (Angular version 10+).
.Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs and collaborate with team for design strategies.
.Incorporate UI/UX designs and optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
.Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders to deliver high quality products.
.Expert in writing clean, maintainable, and efficient code.
.Proven experience to write unit and integration tests with Jasmine, Karma, and/or Protractor.
.Good understanding of various Java script integrations to Angular.
.Sound knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, SASS, Boot strap, Angular material.
.Good understanding of state management, NGRX, and implementing complex enterprise applications.
.Participate in code reviews with peers, knowledge of GIT, and Google Secure Source Manager is a plus
.Create and update documentation in support of development efforts.
.Strong time management and work organization with verbal and oral communication skills.
.Up to date with emerging trends and technologies in front end development.

Angular Framework:
oExpertise in Angular (preferably Angular 10+).
oDeep understanding of Angular CLI, Angular modules, components, services, directives, pipes, and dependency injection.
oExperience with Angular RxJS for handling asynchronous data streams.
.Frontend Technologies:
oStrong proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript/TypeScript.
oFamiliarity with frontend build tools such as Webpack, Gulp, or Grunt, Node.js.
oExperience with responsive design and CSS frameworks like Bootstrap, Materialize, or Angular Material.
.State Management:
oExperience with state management libraries such as NgRx, Akita, or others.
oAbility to design and implement complex state management solutions.
.APIs and Backend Integration:
oProficient in consuming RESTful APIs and integrating them with Angular applications.
oExperience with HTTP Client and handling API responses.
oExperience working with GCP and cloud native application development.
oExperience working with docker, NGINX.
.Testing
oKnowledge of unit testing and end to end testing frameworks like Jasmine, Karma, and Protractor.
oExperience with test driven development (TDD) and Behavior driven development (BDD) practices.
.Version Control
oProficiency in Git for version control.
oExperience with branching strategies and pull request workflows.
.Performance Optimization
oSkilled in optimizing Angular applications for performance and scalability.
oFamiliarity with tools for performance profiling and optimization.
.Security
oUnderstanding of common security practices and vulnerabilities (e.g., XSS, CSRF).
oExperience with securing Angular applications.
.Build and Deployment
oExperience with CI/CD pipelines and tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Cloud (GCP preferred) deployments.
oFamiliarity with Docker and containerization is a plus.
.Other Technologies
oKnowledge of other frontend frameworks (React, Vue.js) can be beneficial.
oExperience with backend technologies (Node.js, Express)

The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and licensure and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $89,600.00 $176,300.00.
