Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) to join a leading healthcare organization's Virtual Care (Telehealth) team. In this fully remote position, you will provide high-quality, evidence-based care to patients through a secure telehealth platform. You will independently assess, diagnose, treat, and educate patients while collaborating with physicians, pharmacists, and other healthcare professionals to deliver exceptional patient care.

This opportunity is ideal for Nurse Practitioners with strong primary care or urgent care experience who enjoy working independently in a virtual healthcare environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide virtual primary and acute care to patients aged 18 months and older.
• Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop appropriate treatment plans.
• Diagnose and manage acute and chronic medical conditions.
• Prescribe medications and provide medication management as appropriate.
• Deliver preventive care, health education, and wellness counseling.
• Provide counseling related to contraception, pregnancy prevention, STI prevention, and healthier lifestyle choices.
• Document patient encounters accurately in the Electronic Health Record (EHR).
• Coordinate care with physicians, pharmacists, and other healthcare professionals.
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA, clinical guidelines, and organizational policies.
• Deliver outstanding patient-centered care and maintain a positive virtual patient experience.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and ongoing professional development.

Required Qualifications

• Master's Degree from an accredited Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) program.
• Current National Board Certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner.
• Active Nurse Practitioner license in Illinois (IL) or Arizona (AZ).
• Minimum of 2 years of clinically relevant Nurse Practitioner experience.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Experience in Primary Care, Family Medicine, Urgent Care, or Telehealth preferred.
• Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills.
• Experience using Electronic Health Records (EHR/EMR).
• Excellent communication, organizational, and patient education skills.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment.

Technical Requirements

• Reliable high-speed internet connection with a minimum of:
• 25 Mbps download speed
• 3 Mbps upload speed
• Quiet and professional home workspace.
• Comfortable using telehealth technology and electronic medical records.

Pay: $60.50 - $64.00 per hour
