Make a lasting impact in nursing education. Prism Career Institute is seeking a dynamic and experienced Assistant Dean of Nursing Education to help lead our PN Program. This is an exciting opportunity to play a critical leadership role in student success, faculty excellence, and program compliance at a vibrant and mission-driven institution.

What You’ll Do:

• Oversee academic operations for your assigned track, ensuring alignment with institutional and accreditor standards.
• Lead student performance improvement efforts, with a focus on early intervention and retention.
• Supervise, evaluate, and mentor nursing faculty in accordance with licensure and institutional expectations.
• Coordinate academic schedules for classes, labs, and clinicals; manage resource allocation.
• Conduct curriculum reviews, monitor SAP (Satisfactory Academic Progress), and implement data-driven improvements.
• Ensure timely submission of regulatory reports and compliance documentation using SBAR communication protocols.
• Maintain a student-centered, inclusive learning environment aligned with FERPA, ADA, and Title IX regulations.

Who We’re Looking For:

Required:

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN); doctoral coursework preferred
• Current, unencumbered RN compact license (NJ and PA)
• At least 3 years of academic leadership or program management experience
• Minimum 2 years of post-secondary teaching, ideally in a Practical Nursing or technical/vocational setting

Preferred:

• Familiarity with Next Generation NCLEX (NGN) test plans and curriculum design
• Experience mentoring and developing faculty teams
• Strong understanding of retention analytics and student intervention planning
• Proficiency in formal reporting methods (SBAR)
• Working knowledge of educational regulations including FERPA, ADA, and Title IX

Work Schedule:

This is a full-time, on-campus role requiring 40 hours per week. Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday & Friday’s from 2:30 pm - 10:30 pm and every other weekend Saturdays/Sundays- 8 am-4 pm. Availability for alternate shifts (evenings or weekends) may be required based on faculty coverage and program needs.
