Job Summary

We are seeking a proactive and versatile Agricultural and Construction Assistant to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will support a wide range of farming, horticultural, animal husbandry, and construction activities. Your energetic approach and hands-on skills will help ensure smooth operations across outdoor work sites, farms, greenhouses, and construction projects. Duties

• Assist with planting, harvesting, irrigation setup, and crop maintenance in farming and horticulture environments
• Support animal care activities including feeding, handling, and basic health checks for livestock and equines
• Operate heavy machinery such as forklifts, farm equipment, and power tools safely and efficiently
• Perform routine maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of agricultural machinery and construction tools
• Support welding, equipment repair, and mechanical tasks to ensure operational readiness of tools and machinery
• Help with manual handling tasks including lifting heavy materials, setting up irrigation systems, and moving supplies
• Contribute to safety standards by adhering to safety protocols during outdoor work, equipment operation, and animal handling

Requirements

• Proven supervising experience or ability to oversee team tasks effectively in outdoor or farm settings
• Valid forklift certification or experience operating heavy equipment safely
• Hands-on experience with animal husbandry, equine care, or livestock management
• Mechanical knowledge related to agricultural machinery repair and general equipment maintenance
• Skilled in welding, power tools usage, hand tools handling, and basic math for measurements and calculations
• Experience with irrigation systems, greenhouse operations, horticulture practices or growing crops is preferred
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining high safety standards in all tasks
• Strong outdoor work experience with a focus on safety standards in production environments
• Knowledge of farm machinery operation including tractors or other heavy equipment used in agriculture or construction
