Description McRory Pediatrics started out almost 20 years ago as a pediatric speech-language therapy clinic. However after much persuasion from many families we set out to expand our services as a means to simplify the lives of the families that we serve by offering a safe, supportive environment that can service all of a child's and family's needs. We are proud to say that we currently offer more than 12 different innovative and quality services and programs to our clients.

As pediatric therapists we also understand the feelings of uncertainty that many families experience with their child's delay. As such, we value all family members as an integral part of the therapy team as we begin the journey in "discovering together" their child's utmost potential.

McRory Pediatric Services, Inc. was established in 1998 out of a passion for working with children, supporting families and creating a positive work environment that placed a heavy emphasis on employees feeling valued and supported. What started out initially as a speech clinic with 3 employees has evolved over the years to be a full service agency that provides families a myriad of services to meet the needs of their child. It was out of hearing families speak of their struggles about having to take their child to several locations, resulting in several hours a week being spent in a car, and seeing first hand the challenges in attempting to collaborate with outside providers that we realized we needed to create a multidisciplinary clinic.

Today, McRory Pediatric Services is proud to offer families unique and innovative therapy programs and services such as speech-language therapy, occupational therapy, physical therapy, child development services, applied behavior analysis, counseling, support groups, social skills training groups, adaptive skills training, healthy relationships & sexuality training groups, parent training classes, intensive center-based early intervention programs and therapeutic preschool, in addition to offering a positive work environment that fosters employee growth for almost 300 employees.

New CE Provider Approvals: We are now officially approved to offer Continuing Education Units (CEUs) for QABA (Qualified Applied Behavior Analysis Credentialing Board), ASHA (American Speech-Language-Hearing Association), and BACB (Behavior Analyst Certification Board) . This enables our staff and community-based professionals to access high-quality training and stay current with evidence-based practices. Launch of JASPER Intervention: We’ve introduced JASPER intervention, a research-tested model for improving joint attention, symbolic play, engagement, and regulation in children with autism. This center-based intervention is now available across both Tarzana and Santa Clarita clinics . Expanded Pediatric Feeding Clinic: We have broadened our multidisciplinary feeding services, combining Occupational Therapy, Speech-Language Pathology, Behavior Analysis, and Marriage & Family Therapy—simplifying care and promoting efficient, cohesive services for families.  Entering the Online Education Space: We've launched “Playing with Purpose”, a therapist-friendly online course teaching strategies for communication and engagement in young children with autism. We are excited to announce that we have more Speech Therapists and Physical Therapists joining the Tarzana and Valencia clinics. With these new team members, we will be able to provide services to more clients and families. We are pleased to now offer JASPER interventions to both locations. Our goal is to provide additional trainings to the team on this evidence-based approach. We are proud to announce one of our newest team members completed McRory’s internal Qualified Autism Service Practitioner (QASP) training, as we are a Qualified Applied Behavior Analysis Credentialing Board (QABA) approved QASP training provider. We are looking forward to adding more Case Managers to the team. Several behavior therapists are attending McRory’s RBT Training, Cohort #25, this spring! This is just one of the many internal perks for career growth opportunities for our Behavior Therapists. Food Trucks are back!
