Pros

Company positioned in a growing industry and Ambu offers very little micro-management. This company is a great stepping stone company to build your resume.

Cons

I would stay away from this company. The direction of the head CEO in Denmark is diluted and he himself is a social narcissists who believes he is correct about everything and once employed, everyone is just a number on the spreadsheet. The company further just acquired King Systems and the acquisition saw many top management team members and sales persons fired for no apparent reason. The company seems to be positioning itself for a sale in a few years to a larger company. In my territory, we experienced multiple product delays and were unable to service customers. There were multiple failed product launches and inventory issues with an overall mixed marketing message to the industry. I am not sure the folks driving the sales/marketing ship know what they are doing. The culture from top down is very gossipy. I am happy I left on my own to better things as this company appears to me to be in turmoil.

Pros

None. Once Ambu purchased King, Ambu bled King dry. Once was an amazing company.

Cons

Poor Management and HIGH turn over Entire executive mgmt team are bullies with inflated egos. Knows nothing about the product line and rarely offers sound advice. RSM’s will throw their reps under the bus and never stand up for them when upper mgmt proves to be incorrect. Mgmt erodes market share by dropping prices to the floor only to loose the business when contracts are renegotiated. Poor quality and dangerous designs.

It's a shame King sold it to them.

Pros

There's a pond across the street from Ambu that has some nice size Bass in it. The air conditioning worked in the summer.

Cons

The best people left within a year of Ambu buying King out. The management that stayed are people who couldn't get a job somewhere better. They treat their production people like dogs.
