Pros

If you have a family, this is the place to work. They are flexible with your schedule and understand family comes first.

Cons

There has been some turnover but I think its for the best in the end.

Pros

Catholic Mutual is very good to its employees with regards to benefits, holidays, and special perks. The company is closed Friday afternoons year-round, has great health insurance and extensive holidays. The company cares about its employees and closes for severe inclement weather always putting the employees safety first. Occasionally upper management will provide surprises such as appreciation gifts, extended casual dress days, and other perks which you don't see in other companies. All in all this is one of the best places I've worked.

Cons

Most of the employees have been around 20 or more years. Innovative change and new ideas can be hard to integrate, however upper management appears committed to pushing forward with technology and continuous improvement. I believe that due to the lack of turnover and therefore few new employees hired on a consistent basis, the new employee orientation process is not very formalized or effective, which can cause frustration and doubt.
