AS leadership repeatedly would say to do something one way and then come back days, weeks, months later and say "I never told you to do it THAT way, I said to do it THIS way." They also feel the need to yell what feels like ALL. THE. TIME. Not just when being dramatic or funny. They often yell AT people for mistakes, in front of others rather than pulling you into the office to talk about a mistake and resolution quietly. Since this particular job is 100% phone based, they don't hesitate to yell instructions out while we are on the phone with customers. I can't tell you how many times I've had a member ask my why there was so much yelling going on in the background. I have seen other co-workers take the initiative to ATTEMPT to bring their behavior to light and NOTHING was done to remedy the situation. If you aren't a "favorite" they will NOT help you grow or develop. Many were denied access to new knowledge that would help them perform their job better and/or advance out of the department. The department's high turnover is due, I am sure, almost exclusively to the department's leadership.
