Pros

Small company feel with big company benefits. Great health insurance, retirement, and 2x per year raise. Super flexible with scheduling.

Cons

Some political decisions, ultimately it is a big company and the store management has to follow corporate decisions

Pros

Each store lives or dies based on the Crew Members; this store happens to have a good, if under-appreciated group. Cheap insurance options stand out but so does our lack of nationalized healthcare that makes being dependent upon minimum wage jobs with no career growth options a must for people who need affordable insurance.

Cons

Mates are on power trips and ignore endemic safety issues, long-standing sexual harassment issues with one specific Crew member and minimize Crew concerns. Gaslighting here is real. The worst Mates have been transferred from store to store(often multiple times) and so each new store has to figure out why they are terrible and Crew has to revolt before any action is taken. The Captain's job is not to look out for crew; they are there to maintain stability and profit for each store. This company pays barely above minimum wage while using those same low-paid employees compassion and empathy to build a brand that makes billions but doesn't actually compensate workers for their effort and investment.
