Old administrative assistants who've been there for decades have poor attitudes, are unwelcoming to young professionals, territorial, bitter, and quite frankly unpleasant. You can tell they have been stuck in the same job for years. Cannot adapt to change, No professional growth opportunities, staff outside of attorneys are not valued, and there is ZERO DIVERSITY.
The attorneys are another story. There's a definite line between attorneys and everyone else. Since they are the money makers, they walk around with a sense of entitlement. The remaining staff are basically invisible, or the scum underneath the attorney's shoes.
Pay is not great. Raises are a joke
