A very different company

Pros

I've worked here for several years and can say that it's one of the best places that I've ever worked. It's a small company with a small company atmosphere. Everyone truly loves their work and will go out of their way to make the company shine, and the upper level appreciates the hard work and extra effort. It's definitely not the "same old grind". Good benefits and people. Great if you're in Ops and like to travel the world.

Cons

Suffers from some of the typical small company issues. Basic growing pains wherein things can be done better or more efficiently, but won't necessarily be considered because the company has a specific plan already in place.

Pros

Good employees Decent Benefits Good PTO and Paid Holidays

Cons

Terrible leadership, no training program, no safety program, constantly breaking FAA laws, consistently flying a UAS weighing over 55 lbs without proper documentation, 80% inconsistent travel, no discipline for employees that break what little rules they follow, OSHA nightmare, will talk employees out of filing workman’s comp when injured on the job, consistently lies to military about aircraft performance.

Growing small company

Pros

This job is very hands on. You get to both engineer and then go build it yourself, especially when prototyping. The company is small and comes with many freedoms a larger company does not. Good benefits are available.

Cons

Being small, the company runs lean. They expect everyone giving 110% effort at all times. There can be pressure to complete your task in a short window.
