No one is there longer than a year unless they've been there forever as there is no room for growth and is a miserable environment. Have a valid opinion on something? No worries you'll be ignored and then questioned later as to why what happened, happened.

IAMS is a horrible place to work, it’s probably comparable to a morgue.

Pros

Health insurance, 401k, HSA, 10 days vacation, nice building, off of dodge, hour lunch, full or part time. Salary, outdoor and in door break room, discounted gym membership

Cons

Low wages, only health insurance, no sick pay. Vacation maximum is 15 days. Huge turnover, no communication, lots of meetings, overtime without pay, There is absolutely no laughing or smiling. They are all about the agents and couldn’t careless about the employees.

Pros

I'm new to the insurance industry and IAMS has been the best IMO I've worked with. Staff are experts in their respective fields (life, annuities, etc.) and have always been generous to share their knowledge and expertise. There's a lot to understand and navigate in this industry and having IAMS as a resource is a huge blessing. Their professionalism is outstanding. No hype. No exaggerated claims of earning potential. Just solid training resources and supportive staff that have answered my calls every time. An IMO I feel good about working with.

Cons

Like most IMO's, they have normal business hours. Which means they're not accessible in the evenings when you're in the middle of client appointments and have a question. Not really that big of a deal though.
