Pros

I love working for IEX! Unlike some of my past companies, there is no dread driving to work. PROS I feel what I do makes a difference. I have the option to work remote or on-site. There is flexibility in my hours and schedule. 3 weeks vacation from the start. Management treats their employees with kindness and respect. Open door policy. Taco Tuesdays. Casual office. Daily sit rep so everyone knows what is going on in other departments. Salary. Co-workers are super qualified and smart plus friendly, helpful and caring.

Cons

There is none that I have seen.

Pros

Smaller defense tech company. Less red-tape than primes, engineer's dream dev environment. Oweness is on you to identify, execute, and deliver. Dream up your own solutions, and bring them to life. None of the whole "it has always been done this way, so learn how to do it this way". Hybrid / Remote opportunities are usually available.

Cons

Vacation days accrue a bit slowly, though I could have pushed a little harder during interview phase to barter for quicker accrual or higher starting days in store. Currently getting bought out by GDIT, so health benefits will be more expensive.

Iron EagleX gets it right. Excellent and above the standard benefits and the teamwork and communication are excellent.

Pros

The no-nonsense environment, small team and accountability and trust we all have. Being an excellent defense contractor actually means something to the leadership team. They put the employees and the government customer first.

Cons

Hard to slow down when you are having so much fun with a great team.
