Pros

As an Account Director, you're given a lot of freedom to own your book of business as you see fit. You of course have to stay on top of your data entry into Salesforce as you would with any sales role, but in terms of building relationships with your customers and planning visits, you're given a lot of autonomy. The sales goals are aggressive, but you have every opportunity to be a hunter and try your best to achieve them.

Cons

The internal process when it comes to the administrative part of closing a deal is entirely too detailed. There needs to be a more efficient contract structure as well as fewer steps to when it comes to implementing a new solution for a customer
