Pros

Unlimited PTO, except it is primarily taken advantage of by upper leadership leaving their teams struggling to get work done.

Cons

A hostile, soulless environment. Everyone is scrambling without any real direction as the company objectives are ever-changing at best and nonexistent at worst. Upper management is hostile and will throw team elements under the bus for any reason. Prepare to be berated and belittled in every meeting. If you have the misfortune of working in a department that the founder is interested in, good luck ever getting any work done: she will micromanage everything you do and will text you 24/7 nitpicking your work. The CEO is not any better, he is focused on turning the company into Tesla (hint: it will never be Tesla). The office is incredibly dirty, employees are constantly sick as a result. I did not see it get a real cleaning in my entire time there. There are flies, black gunk in the air vents, and dust from construction all over the place. There are a total of maybe 5 meeting rooms for the entire company, and no one respects the booking process. You can be meeting a 3rd party client and suddenly be kicked out of your room because someone with a fancier title decided they want it. There is ZERO corporate culture here, the office is so tense and hostile that no happy hour will solve the issues at hand.

An Utter Disgrace

Pros

- Employee discount - Unlimited PTO - Extensive list of brands

Cons

- The CEO, Ganesh Srivats, has run Moda Operandi into the ground. The company is no longer profitable and is at a complete loss. He has a terrible rapport with his employees and is not respected in the industry. Until he is gone, there is no hope for this company. - Upper Management: Managers, directors, and c-level positions have been filled by Mr. Srivats former Tesla employees, who are all unqualified for their roles. They lack knowledge, experience, drive and professionalism. They have abused their power and spent more time wasting company money than actual working. - No Career Growth: There is no budget, support, or encouragement for career growth - Bonuses & Incentives: All bonuses and incentives have been taken away due to current standings - High Turnover: Very high turnover. Tenured employees went running & all new hires were let go. Mr. Srivats & upper management over hired & over spent on unqualified and unprofitable candidates. - Company Moral: SHOT

Change upper management and listen to employees

Pros

- some excellent colleagues (depends greatly on the team you are in) - 50% discount on full price apparel - great location

Cons

- Constantly launching new initiatives that aren't followed through - Poor compensation in relation to skill level and experience - Company is constantly thinking of ways to delay/push back the review process and reviews are only for the benefit of Senior Management to check it off their list - No transparency around how to obtain career growth or increase in pay - HR willfully ignores the most obvious concerns of employees and almost never provides a straight answer - Substantial percent of the workforce comes from an extremely privileged and rich background which probably is a factor into why raises are given so rarely (they do not live off of their Moda salary) - No formal training in place

Care about your success

Pros

My team and my supervisor want me to succeed--from my orientation to monthly meetings scheduled with other new hires from throughout the company it's clear I am welcomed and am being set-up for success!

Cons

Meetings being rescheduled is a bit of the norm. Rationale tends to come from upper management meetings changing and that trickles down. Can be changed once identified/acknowledged by the senior leaders (hope they see this lol).
