In my opinion, a very Passive Aggressive and Bully Culture Is the norm. Logged time on computer is very very important, measurably so……..Norm is to belittle and communicate in condescending manner. Toxic work culture. Decades behind with mentality, EQ, technology and ideas

Cons

No growth company. Very hard to get any sort of raise. Bonus is below average. Lot of favoritism in the company. Especially in Rates IT. Stupid trainings and non sense ethics program. Every year they have an excuse about not giving decent bonus.

Senior bankers are mostly bankers who were fired from other banks and have bounced from bank to bank in their careers. Lack of alignment on strategic vision between U.S. and Japanese leadership leads to constant realignment of strategy and nothing sticks. Put all together, there's an inconsistent flow of deals and it generally seems like a place where people live to collect their salaries and bonuses.
