Pros

Some really good guys/employees that are loyal to this company and don’t realize they can quit and there is better company’s they can go work for

Cons

Place is a joke. People in position that have no business being there. Really nice equipment that is trashed beyond repair because nobody is held accountable. Very unsafe! If you are hired as an equipment operator, you better be ready to just drive the equipment to the job site and park it for the rest of the day...you better be ready to shovel and do heavy labor work all day as an “equipment operator”, that’s a guarantee. Replace the title of equipment operator with labor hand when they hire you, 100% for sure!

Bakersfield is our largest operations group, and the company is doing more work than ever in Central California in 2018. Our great employees and the outstanding, well maintained, and safe equipment they use to get the job done are a major reason why. But...thanks for the feedback. We will definitely look into these comments and use them to improve even more.

Poor management and commitment. For a big company they are very unprofessional. Have a couple of no goods.

Work is always available and hours. Pay and benefits are excellent

Cons

Getting corporate to approve cost and spending. They put protocols in place but do not follow. Breaking there own rules.

Your experience is certainly not representative of the overwhelming majority of our employees. However, we are always trying to improve. We are continuing to roll out company-wide processes, training, and communication that make Patriot a great place for all of our employees. Hopefully, you will see these changes firsthand soon.
