Pros

Everyone cares about the patients and their co-workers. Collaboration with other therapists while sharing patients is fun and unique as you get to learn from each other and give the patient a more wholesome experience. 1 on 1 appointments allow for a more manageable caseload and and work-life balance.

Cons

There are no cons to working at PTU

Pros

PTU has been a great place to work. I have been employed here for the past 7 years and I am in a management position. You can create your own opportunities so there is always room for personal growth. There is flexibility in the schedule to help allow for a positive work-life balance. If you are a new graduate, just starting a family or trying to finish out your career, there is a place for you. The three clinics are state of the art with the equipment needed to help our patients get better faster. We have a terrific staff and the approach to patient care is collaborative throughout the company. The owner Kelly is always looking for ways to improve both patient experience and her employee's working experience.

Cons

Honestly, I have nothing negative to say about this company

Pros

I have worked at PTU for the past 4 years. I started out here as a new grad and the collaborative environment allowed my clinical reasoning to grow. The ability to talk through my clinical reasoning with other clinicians was extremely valuable when first coming out of school. PTU values patient care through 1 on 1 appointments and has the equipment needed to get our patients back to the activities they love. Since we are a private practice there are a lot of opportunities for growth and following your passion. Since my time here I have been able to create new programs and hold strength and conditioning classes for the community. Everyone at PTU has a growth mindset and we are always trying to improve our patient care through journal clubs, in-services, and brining in speakers. Not only is this a great place to work and grow as a clinician but I also have created get friendships with all of my co-workers.

Cons

It is a good sign that I am having trouble coming up with a con. The con I can think of has to do with insurance which would be the case in any insurance based physical therapy clinic and the owner of PTU has changed EMR systems to try to make documentation as easy as possible.
