Pros

Residents are great all welcoming and open to communicating

Cons

Employees have bad attitudes towards residents and do not get reprimanded for it. Night and evening shift does nothing and leaves everything for day shift and administration are too focused on having meetings hiding in their offices to do anything about it. Very short staffed and no hiring quality standards.

Hard work

Pros

Great place for new nurses to learn. They are very patience. We are experiencing a lot more acute issues so more nursing skills are being used.

Cons

Understaffed has been a real problem recently. It has gotten pretty bad making it impossible to preform job properly. For the amount of work that is expected nurses are very underpaid.

Pros

A very positive environment to work in. Most of the employees I've met are good people who truly care about the residents and treat them with respect and kindness. They also are friendly and supportive of their co-workers. If you share those values and live them in your daily work, you will succeed at St. Ann's. Also, there are many opportunities to interact with residents even if that's not in your job description, which is very rewarding.

Cons

There are not many cons to working here. Your own attitude is the most important factor in the quality of your experience in any workplace.
