Clean factory, safe, well-lit, and temperature controlled. Room for advancement, reasonable pay, and no extreme mandatory overtime.
You are trained on the job and the bosses give you time to learn without rushing you.
Coworkers treat you with respect. Managers are there working next to you to help with any questions you may have, rather than being totally absent like in some other factories.
The people I worked with were cool. They were very accepting and we could joke around together from week 1. The management was a little strict on factory cleanliness levels, but fair enough, it's better to work in a clean environment. There was down time throughout the day so I wasn't constantly busy for 8 hours.
Cons
The normal hours for first shift were fine, 7am-3pm, you get your work out of the way and have the rest of the day free. Once every month or two there would be maintenance though, so for that week it was 5am-1pm.
