At Concentra, we value your expertise—so much so, our care model is built on it. Concentra physicians work with our occupational therapists, physical therapists and Athletic Trainers in a collaborative care model that’s designed to ensure that your voice is heard throughout patient treatment. They look to you for therapy recommendations and collaborate on return-to-work plans from the beginning.
Because we’re an occupational health provider, Concentra Therapy works primarily with adults who are recovering from a work injury or need guidance on how to lead healthy, active lives on the job and at home. 99% of our cases are outpatient orthopedics with a musculoskeletal focus.

At Concentra, therapists always report to therapists, not physicians. Our therapists work under a therapist-led management team, meaning that you work with and for people who understand what you do, and why you do it.
We also support you with:
A variety of assistance programs for MTI certification
Paid licensure
APTA dues
CME
A transitional doctor of physical therapy program
75% of Concentra therapists are in the process of or have completed manual therapy certification.

Embarking on a student rotation with Concentra offers you valuable, hands-on training and experience in diagnosing and treating work injuries. You’ll be directly mentored by experts while learning how to implement preventive measures and ergonomic assessments. Choose to rotate with us and become a vital part of our team.

Concentra has partnered with over 200 physical therapy and occupational therapy programs in the United States to provide cliinical rotations for therapy students. We welcome all eligible students to our clinical sites for affiliation, fieldwork and rotation opportunities, as available. Because we are a national health care organization, we can offer clinical educational opportunities across 40 states in most of our 300+ sites.
Our centers are staffed by highly trained clinicians, including therapists prepared at the DPT level, and therapists who have attained specialist certification such as Certified Manual Therapist (Cert. MDT, MTC, CMT, etc) and Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopedic and Manual Physical Therapists (FAAOMPT), Orthopedic Certified Specialist (OCS), and Certified Hand Therapist (CHT).

"Concentra has provided me with the flexibility and resources I need to grow and develop professionally that few other companies can match. I have a unique role that’s allowed me to perform a wide array of services within the world of occupational health and workplace wellness. I also like that Concentra Therapy has a “family” feel—you don’t just have opportunities to grow and develop professionally, you also have the feeling that your bosses and peers legitimately care about you as a person. As a therapist, I’ve also had a lot of opportunities to impact worker health beyond just traditional outpatient care."
