The worst thing is that the little amount of sick pay you acquire because it’s the state law, they will fight you on it. They will argue and have lawyer representation just to find loop holes in the wording so they can skip out on a lousy 4 hours of sick pay leave. They are too cheap to provide anything other than what is required from them by the state.
