They have supplemental short-term, which is nice, but it and long-term both top out at 60% and you can't opt in to paying the tax on the premiums, so that makes it all (supplemental short-term and all long-term, until/if social security disability kicks in) taxable, not exactly enough to live on while disabled.

There is both supplemental STD and LTD, but they're only up to 60% of salary, and there is neither a tax option nor an option to increase coverage at group rates. It's better than just SDI and SSDI, of course, but 60% isn't enough to live off of when that disability also comes with increased medical bills.
