Work From Home

For many years would not allow remote work though others on the contract (from other companies) were allowed. They started allowing it in 2012 or 2013.

Absolutely an option. Downside is you really have to work hard to stay connected, relevant and visible.

They have full VPN access and a lot of employees work from home full time.

you can work from home as long as you pay for all of your own infrastructure like internet and phone

this was to cut expences for csc so they did not have to pay for desk space at the customer site.

The best part was you could work from home four days a week. The worst part was having to go into the office once a week.

Decent work from home for some positions, but word is, those people are all now targeted for elimination.

Work From Home option was available, however I do not like Work From Home.

Allowed to work from home for companies benefit. Results in expectation that employees be available at all hours of day and night for meetings. Only provided a laptop. No stipend for landline phone or internet. New company cost savings measure was to cancel cell phones for most remote workers.

I worked form home all the time. No extensive travel with the role
