You can take it, whether it'll be a blackout day due to events is the question. They judge how often you take time off. Even if you have the vacation hours available.

Code Four

Only 2 out of 52 weeks a year are blacked out for vacation. Being that they are the busiest weeks of the year, it would be unfair to your team mates to leave them when they need help the most. You wouldn't ask for Black Friday off if you worked retail, would you? We are sorry this inconvenienced you but feel it is an unfair assessment.

Vacation is standard but personal days are accepted for long hours worked

Pretty average - 2 weeks paid vacation per year for the first 72 months and goes up from there. But we also usually get a free week between Xmas and New Years to recharge, which is pretty rad
